Salesianum School Unveils Renovated Gardner Center: A Hub for Educational Support

Salesianum School has long been a pioneer in enhancing the student experience, and the recent renovation of the Gardner Center is the latest testament to its commitment to innovation and inclusion in academic support. The center, founded by long-time Salesianum educator Susan Gardner, has evolved from a small, informal initiative to a vital part of the school's academic infrastructure, now serving nearly 200 students daily with a dedicated staff.

The Gardner Center is home to our Trinity and Brisson programs, along with testing rooms accessible to all students. Our Trinity Program is designed for college-bound students with diagnosed and documented learning differences to provide more intensive and structured support and a smaller student-faculty ratio. In our Brisson program, our students have supervised workspaces and review their academic work individually with our dedicated staff.

The Gardner Center's expansion was driven by its growing role in supporting student learning. The renovation created new, specialized spaces, including dedicated rooms for the Trinity Program, designated testing rooms, and increased flexibility for Brisson services. These upgrades will allow the Gardner Center staff to better address the diverse needs of Salesianum's expanding student body.

Salesianum’s educational support services are a critical component of this growth and success. The Gardner Center’s holistic approach focuses on meeting students where they are, offering personalized attention that nurtures individual strengths while addressing challenges. Whether through small group instruction, learning accommodations, or targeted programs like Brisson, the center ensures every student has the resources necessary to thrive in a rigorous academic environment. By continuously adapting and expanding its services, Salesianum remains committed to fostering student success at every level. The center continues to embody its initial vision of making academic success accessible to all students, providing them with the personalized attention and resources they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
