As a Catholic school, we believe every person has the dignity of being made in God’s image. So we foster a supportive community that embraces differences, promoting respect for every individual. Getting exposure to different ideas, experience, and cultures directly reflects our mission to Live Jesus.
That’s why diversity and inclusion are non-negotiable parts of our Catholic and Salesian identity. Our patron, Saint Francis de Sales, described his idea of “unidiversity” in “Treatise on the Love of God”:
“God, like a printer, has given existence to all the different creatures which have been, are, or shall be, by one single stroke of his all-powerful will… All [created things] together are called the universe, perhaps because all their diversity is reduced to unity, as if one were to say unidiverse, that is, unique and diverse, unique along with diversity and diversity along with unity.”
In that spirit of unity, Salesianum opens its doors wide — and aims to open young men’s minds.
