Educational Support Services
Salesianum School seeks to assist all students to "Be who
they are and to be that well". Students with diagnosed,
documented special learning needs may benefit from the academic
program offered at Salesianum School. It is important to understand
that Salesianum School has
no "special education program". Students with
special learning needs who have the cognitive aptitude and basic skills
necessary for academic success may be academically successful at Salesianum.
Salesianum School provides all students with structure, consistency and support. The Director of Educational Support Services serves the school community by monitoring the academic progress of all students who may be academically at risk because of a diagnosed and documented medical condition, learning disability, or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Students with special learning needs continue to be monitored for all four years of high school and assisted with the college admissions process.
