Entrance Placement

Parents and students are advised to declare special needs when registering for the Salesianum School entrance and placement test.

Parents are requested to submit documentation of special needs.

Depending upon the student's special needs, documentation may take the form of a psycho-educational evaluation, an Individual Education Plan (IEP), and/ or a Comprehensive Educational Report (CER). Medical documentation is appropriate in some cases.

Documentation may provide an opportunity for the student to take the entrance and placement test using extended time accommodation which provides the student with up to 50% more time.

Documentation provides Salesianum with information that enables the Academic Dean's office to appropriately plan a students academic curriculum.

Contact Mrs. Susan Gardner, Director of Educational Support Services for information about required documentation.
