State Champions: 1983, 1989, 1993, 2002, 2004-2008, 2010-2015

Salesianum’s soccer program has won 10 of the last 12 state championships. In the 2013 season, Salesianum beat #1 ranked St. Benedict’s, and was ranked #2 in the country.

Over 25 players have gone on to play Division 1 soccer in college, with another 25 going on to play Division 2 or 3. Player of the Year/National All Americans have included: Steve Cavalier(Pitt) 2003, Eamon O'Neill(Northwestern) 2004, 2005, Matt Margiotta (Villanova) 2007, Andrew O'Malley(Notre Dame) 2008, 2009, Moja Hale 2011 and Hunter Dann (University of Maryland) 2012 (also named Delaware’s Player of the Year 2012). Regional All Americans have included: Steve Cavalier(Pitt) 2003, Ryan Dougherty (LaSalle) 2003, Ryan Burns 2004, Mike Volk (UVA) 2006, Chas Wilson (U of D) 2009 and Connor Norat 2010 (Bryant).

The program was started in 1975 and was coached by Mr. Anthony Wolanski '65 until 2001. In Coach Wolanski's 27 years, he posted 323 wins, 96 losses, and 49 ties and won state championships in 1983, 1989, and 1993. Currently, the team is coached by Scott Mosier (Coach of the Year 2002, 2004; Delaware Sports Writers and Broadcasters Coach of the Year 2008).  He is assisted by Henry Fusco (Asst. Coach), Justin Romano (Varsity Asst.), Pat Dever (JV Head Coach) David McKee and Ray Crotty (JV Assts.) and Zach Roble (Freshman Head Coach). 

Team Honors

Delaware Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association's State Team of the Year 2004, going 20-0 scoring 106 goals for and 6 against.

Broke the consecutive winning streak for the state of Delaware with 45 in a row in 2006.
