State Championships: 1972, 1986, 1993, 2005-06, 2009, 2013

The Salesianum football program was founded in 1921 under the direction of Mr. Arthur “Brick” Malloy and has continued to the present, with a five-year interruption from 1939 to 1944 due to World War II.

Over the years, the Salesianum football team has competed against over 130 teams from six states and the Washington, D.C. area. The team has won seven state championships, and has come in second place four times. 

Head Coach Bill DiNardo has led the team since 2004, and is assisted by Rob McConaghy, Paul Salvo and Anthony Spadaccini (Varsity Assts), Ted Godfrey (JV Head Coach), Bill Sutherland (JV Asst.), Steve Candelora (JV Asst.),  Michael Manley (Fr. Head Coach), Joe Manley (Fr. Asst.) and Tim Manley (Fr. Asst.).
