The Alumni Office hosts a wide variety of events each year, which bring together Salesian brothers from around the globe. Whether you'd like to volunteer or just show up and celebrate, there is always something fun coming up!
The 2016-2017 school year will include:
- Reunion Weekend: October 28 & 29
Reunion weekend consists of a Friday night tailgate and football game for all alumni, as well as a Saturday night cocktail party and dinner dance for reunion year classes. Nearly 800 people attended last year's Saturday event, which featured a catering by Food for Thought (Ben Porter '93) and drinks from FranksWine (Frank Pagliaro '85). The 2016 reunion classes end in '1s and '6s. Be on the lookout for invitations in early fall!

- Young Alumni Day
Graduates from the past four years are invited to come back and visit with classmates and teachers over refreshments.
- For the Boys
For the Boys is Salesianum's premiere fundraising event, bringing parents, alumni, family and friends together for an evening of food, drink, live music and silent auctions. For the Boys 2016 was held at Vicmead Hunt Club.

- Alumni Sports Banquet
The annual Alumni Sports Banquet honors Salesianum’s senior athletes each March. The 2016 Sports Banquet was attended by over 600 guests. Jack Holloway '64 served as emcee and Scott Proefrock, Assistant GM of the Phillies did the keyynote address.
- Blue Mass
Members of the law enforcement, emergency services community and their families are invited to celebrate Mass at Salesianum. At this years Mass, nearly 100 officers and their family members joined together to pray for peace, safety and justice.

- Easter Egg Hunt & Family Breakfast
Alumni, faculty and friends of Salesianum are invited to enjoy a delicious catered breakfast, photo ops with the Easter bunny and the main event–an Easter egg hunt! Last year's event included over 400 people.

- Lt. Joseph Szczerba '85 Memorial 5k Run/ Walk
Lieutenant Joseph Szczerba, an 18 - year veteran of the New Castle County Police Department and a graduate of Salesianum High School, was killed in the line of duty on September 16, 2011. To honor his legacy, a scholarship fund was established in his name. Last year, more than 700 people participated in the race.

- Golden Oldies Luncheon
Alumni who graduated at least 50 years ago are invited to join us for Mass in the gymnasium then in Centenary Hall for a catered luncheon and good times reminiscing with lifelong friends.

- Hall of Fame Induction
All members of the Salesianum community are invited to welcome the newest members of the Alumni Hall of Fame, which honors integral figures in making Sallies the special place it is today. The 2016 inductees are: O. Francis Biondi Esquire ’50, Richard T. Christopher ’57, Justice William M. Duffy ’36, Maj. Gen. Charles J. Dunlap, Jr., USAF (Ret) ’68, Rev. William J. Hultberg, OSFS ’49, Francis John “Mike” McCall ’24, Mark L. Reardon, Esquire ’78.
- Salesianum Open Golf Tournament
The annual Salesianum Open features a great day of golf, lunch and dinner, and a silent auction. The 2015 Open was a sold-out event held at Fieldstone Golf Club. The 2016 event will be held on June 20th.
