Salesianum Summer EDGE Program

Salesianum Summer EDGE was launched in June 2017 as an extension of our educational mission that focuses on developing the whole person. We believe Salesianum Summer EDGE is a great opportunity for students - from Geometry to Chemistry and from Scripture to Spanish, uniquely developed summer courses allow students to stay academically sharp while still allowing plenty of time for vacation and downtime. With an average EDGE class size of eleven, students receive very personalized instruction and attention.

Fulfilling a credit in the summer creates more opportunities and flexibility during the school year, whether that means taking more advanced courses or alleviating the stress from already challenging course loads. Full-credit courses will meet June 18 through July 20 for 4.5 hours a day (8:00 am - 12:30 pm) with several days provided for the July 4 holiday. Half-credit courses will meet the same hours, from June 18 to June 29. During its inaugural 2017 season, more than 120 students took advatage of this innovative program.

"I signed up for the summer EDGE program becaue I wanted to get ahead in math, transition into Salesianum, and make friends before school started." -Ben S. `21

"I chose to take a summer EDGE class so I could have more open time during the year and more elective options in the future. It was also valuable because I completed a mandatory (half-credit) course in two weeks."  Ben G. `21

The 2018 course catalog and registration link is coming soon.  Limited seats for courses are available, and students will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Questions? Contact edge@salesianum.org
