Salesianum Lacrosse Players Named to All-American Teams

Four Players and One Coach Honored by The Delaware Lacrosse Foundation

The 2009 state champion Salesianum School Lacrosse Team was honored by the Delaware Lacrosse Foundation this season. Senior Daniel Caton was awarded Academic All-American honors, seniors Brandon Groux, Dan Tryon, and junior Mark Cyron earned All-American honors, and coach Shawn Plews was named Assistant Coach of the Year. Groux was also named Boys Player of the Year.

The Delaware Lacrosse Foundation, a Chapter of US Lacrosse and a 501C3 non-profit organization, is dedicated to fostering the growth of Lacrosse throughout the State of Delaware.

Salesianum School is a Roman Catholic independent secondary school that teaches young men to Live Jesus, guided by the spirituality of Saint Francis de Sales, through a college preparatory education, enabling them to take their place in the world as Salesian gentlemen.
