Salesianum School Jefferson Awards Team Wins Video Award

Wilmington, DE- Salesianum School’s Jefferson Awards Team has been recognized as the winner of the Students in Action video competition. Students from five schools nationwide submitted videos showcasing their school’s commitment to service. The Jefferson Awards Board of Selectors picked Salesianum’s as the best entry.

The video will be showcased at the 2009 Celebrate Delaware event, hosted by Delaware’s First Lady, Karla Markell, at Woodburn, the official governor’s residence.

Last year, Salesianum was recognized as the 2009 Jefferson Award Youth Service National Recipient for Outstanding Service by a High School, and the previous year the school was recognized as the Leadership School for the State of Delaware.
