Student Instructions for NetClassroom Course Selections (Spring 2010)
- Log on to NetClassroom.
- Under the “classes menu,” select
Registration.
- Click “Edit Requests.”
- Click “New” to add a class.
- Click the BINOCULARS. Enter the course # in the COURSE ID field.
You may enter the course title instead the COURSE NAME field. Click SEARCH.
Example: For Morality and Social Justice-3 enter 138
- Click on the Course # (ex. 138), and you will see it appear in
your list of
course requests.
SHORTCUT: if you know the course #, you may simply enter it in a main request
field and then hit ENTER.
***To enter another request, click NEW.
- For all electives requests (such as World Affairs), please enter
a course under ALTERNATE (for example, you could use FOREIGN POLICY
as an
ALTERNATE for WORLD AFFAIRS).
Enter only your 1st alternate choice.
For 1⁄2 credit electives, add 1⁄2 credit alternates.
For 1 credit electives, add 1 credit electives.
There is NO need to enter alternates for REQUIRED courses (ex. Religion,
English, history, math, science, PE, etc.).
- If you would like 2 or more electives, enter them as separate
MAIN REQUESTS.
- When you are finished entering requests, click SUBMIT. You may
do this multiple
times. Please check to see that your TOTAL CREDITS add up to the proper
amount. Remember, students must select at least 7 credits and no more
than 8 credits.
- After clicking SUBMIT, you may see an “exception,” in
which case the computer will NOT allow you to enter & save a certain
course. If you believe this is an error, please email Mr. Szczerba
at juszczer@salesianum.org.
I will either enter this for you, fix the problem, or explain why you cannot
take the course.
